Recently, the owner of Trinity Investigations was interviewed by a local tv news station regarding a missing persons case that he is working. The interview involves a case of a person that went missing from a party almost two years ago. When the police investigation became stalled, the mother of the missing child asked Trinity Investigations to help.
If you have any information involving the disappearance of Clinton Nelson, from the Haughton area, please call us with your information. You may be eligible for a reward for your information. Call 318-742-8857 or email trinitypi@bellsouth.net. www.trinitypi.com |

When you hire a private investigator for your particular case, you may want to check them out first. Recently, we discovered that a least one PI in Louisiana has a history of committing domestic violence. What makes matters worse, this particular investigator lists as part of their services, investigation of family law issues.
Do not be blind sided at trial. If the other side found out that your investigator had been arrested on two seperate occassions for simple battery and simple assault for domestic violence, the results for you could be devistating. Besides that, do you really want someone with this type of history working on your side. Here are some tips in selecting your investigator: 1. Check with the local BBB to see if any complaints have been filed against them. 2. Make sure that you have a written agreement. 3. Be wary of companies that do not provide a refundable retainer. 4. Check with your local Clerk of Courts office or Police Department to see if there is a history of arrest. 5. Check with the PI Licensing board to see if there are any complaints and if they were confirmed. 6. Check with several companies to make sure that you get a fair deal. 7. Do not be afraid to ask questions about your investigator's background 8. Check to see if they are insured 9. Is your investigator hard to get a hold of? This could be an indicator that something is not right. For more information, check out our web site at www.trinitypi.com or call us at 318-742-8857. |

With the advent of the holiday season upon us, I have noticed the ever increasing move to remove all references to Christ, Christmas and the true meaning of the season. Remember that our great nation was founded on a belief in Christ and that our very existence is owed to his sacrafice.
I am not ashamed to proclaim that I am a Christian. If you see me on the street, it is ok to wish me a Merry Christmas, because I will be doing the same to you. Keep Christ in Christmas and in your heart. He can do wonderous things for you if you let him. Robert www.trinitypi.com |

Q: Do you know how far pregnant you are now?
A: I'll be three months on March 12th. Q: Apparently then, the date of conception was around January 12th? A: Yes. Q: What were you doing at that time? ![]() www.trinitypi.com |

A lawyer and an engineer were fishing in the Caribbean. The lawyer said, "I'm here because my house burned down, and the insurance company paid for everything."
"That's quite a coincidence," said the engineer. "I'm here because my house was destroyed by a flood, and my insurance company also paid for everything." The puzzled lawyer asked, "How do you start a flood?" www.trinitypi.com |

Steve's barn burned down. Julie, his wife, called the insurance company and said, "We had that barn insured for fifty thousand and I want my money."
"Whoa there, just a minute, Julie, it doesn't work like that. We will assess the value of the building and provide you with a new one of comparable worth." the agent replied. Julie, after a pause, said, "Well, in that case, I'd like to cancel the policy on my husband." www.trinitypi.com |

TEN STEPS TO HELP WITH YOUR CHILD CUSTODY CASE:
1. Always hire an experienced family law lawyer. Before hiring the attorney, ask them to provide you with a list of the judges that they present cases to? Also, ask them to provide you with information regarding their success rate for their clients. Check campaign contributions to see which attorneys provided the largest contributions to the family law judges. 2. Private investigators work with you and your attorney to help you secure evidence that will be beneficial in your case. Hiring an experienced private investigator like those from Trinity Investigations will give you an extra edge. Documented physical evidence such as video taped images is hard to over come and provides the judge with visual evidence from a third party. 3. Don’t be afraid to ask your attorney or private investigator questions. Remember, they work for you! Become knowledgeable in your case and the laws that will help you to win your case. Develop an action plan with your attorney to help you prevail at trial. At Trinity Investigations, we provide our clients with regular updates. You should expect the same from other professionals that you use in your case. 4. Document conversations between you and the other parent. Buy an inexpensive hand held tape recorder and record conversations between you and the other parent. Louisiana law does allow for this as long as one party is part of the conversation. (be sure to always check with your attorney for legal advise regarding this law) 5. Try to avoid mental health evaluations and never accept the opposing lawyers suggested evaluator if you are forced into having to do this. Carefully review all of your options with your attorney regarding these evaluations before making any decisions that will affect the outcome of your case. 6. If at all possible, do not stipulate and have your day in court. Do not assume that you will not prevail. Men are especially reluctant to go to trial because they wrongly assume that men will not ever get custody. Depending on your circumstances, you may be able to prevail at trial. Be sure that you review all of your options with your attorney before making a decision that will affect your case. Hiring competent legal representation, investigators and other professionals will give you a better opportunity to win your case. 7. Mediation is another option that you should consider not accepting. If you could agree on things before, then you would not be in court now. It is our experience that mediation is an option that you should carefully consider with your attorney. 8. Learn to co-parent with your ex during this time. Take the lead and be in charge during this time. It will help the children as well as your case. 9. Always document your conversations and other activity involving your children. One way is to have a calendar where you record the events of that day. An example might be that you had to pick up the child for school and take them for a doctor’s appointment. Be sure to keep records for all expenses for your children during this period. 10. Lastly, your children are very important to you. Be sure that you work with your attorney, investigator or other professional to help you prepare for your case. Provide them with all of the necessary information, no matter how trivial to help you with your case. The above information should not be considered as legal advice. The views and opinions contained herein are based on our personal experience and knowledge. Before making any decisions regarding any matter involving information contained herein, we recommend that you seek legal advice from a qualified attorney.
